It’ll come as no surprise to say that we love animals here, whether on land or under the sea! So, it is important to us to make sure that our scrummy new range of kids’ vitamins do not harm animals in any way.
That’s why our whole SpongeBob vitamin range is proudly PETA UK certified as vegan, vegetarian and cruelty free. This means that parents can trust our vitamins have not harmed any animals during production.
And as a bonus, because our entire range is both vegetarian and vegan it means that our tasty kids’ vitamins can be enjoyed by even more SpongeBob fans!
In this blog we’ll tell you a little bit more about what PETA UK is and what they do, as well as explain what makes our tasty vitamins vegan and cruelty free.
What is PETA UK?
PETA UK is a UK based charity that stands for: The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. It is dedicated to establishing and protecting the rights of all animals and is part of a global PETA network! It is an industry leader for animal cruelty prevention work.
What does PETA UK do?
PETA UK believes that all animals deserve to be respected and it organises campaigns to put a stop to animal cruelty. PETA works through public education, research, legislation, special events, celebrity involvement and protest campaigns to help prevent animal cruelty. They also work with brands to provide certifications of their products, so you can trust they are cruelty free.
What makes our kids’ vitamins range vegan?
Simply put, our entire SpongeBob SquarePants kids’ vitamins range contains no animal products what-so-ever! Animal products appear in lots of everyday items, even ones you wouldn’t expect, such as some sweets and marshmallows. This is why we worked with PETA UK on getting out vegan certification and have made it really clear on our packaging that our products are suitable for everyone.
What do we mean when we say our kids’ vitamins range is cruelty free?
So now you know that our vitamin range is vegan, how is this different from being cruelty free? As well as not containing any animal products, we did not test any of the SpongeBob SquarePants kids’ vitamin range on animals at any stage of the product development. In fact, the factory where we made our kids vitamins doesn’t test any of its products on animal’s full stop.
We hope that this explains a bit more about our relationship with PETA UK and why we chose to make our range vegan and animal cruelty-free!
Don’t forget, you can buy the full range at Holland & Barrett and Wilko.
